You read the annotations, identify the techniques at work, and use the idea banks to answer questions that take you from the surface of the text to the bigger ideas about power, conflict and the human experience. These are compatible with the bookmarks and the way we teach writing at English GCSE Boost, but they will work with whatever paragraph format you’ve been taught seamlessly.
